The instructions you have to follow
The information you can access on this page does more than outline the critical procedures you're required to follow in your capacity as a specialist provider. It also provides essential tools to keep you and your team safe on the worksite when working with electricity.
Acquiring land and easements
If you need to acquire easements or land on Sydney Water's behalf for infrastructure purposes, our Procedure: Easement guidelines will help you work through the process. This includes when an easement or land is required, requirements and conditions and how to progress the acquisition.
Constructing new pipes
You must follow these instructions when defining, designing and constructing water and wastewater infrastructure. You must read these instructions with either the related Water Services Association of Australia (WSAA) codes and Sydney Water supplements or the Sydney Water editions of the WSAA codes:
